Survey Engineer

As a Survey Engineer, you will be the primary contact within the technical department for equipment and development for the survey colleagues. You will monitor progress and conditions looking for development to achieve positive results and improve procedures. What does your work consist of?

Job description:

• Maintenance, repair, and development of specialized survey equipment
• Installation and mobilization of modern survey systems, including calibrations
• Providing technical support on our survey projects
• Proposing improvements to work instructions to enhance work processes and end products
• Submitting proposals for improving quality and safety procedures
• Acting as a client representative

What we require:

• Bachelor’s degree with a technical background
• Demonstrable survey knowledge (e.g., CAT-A or CAT-B diploma)
• At least 3 years of experience as a survey engineer in the maritime sector
• Thorough knowledge of measurement systems and instrumentation
• Knowledge of the hardware of modern survey equipment and computer hardware
• Knowledge of and experience with specialized data processing packages such as QINSy, PDS2000, ARCGIS, or AutoCAD
• Willingness to work on projects abroad
