Brave Marine Microgaming Use /div>

Urk, 28 October 2016
Braveheart Shipping B.V. assigned Javelin International B.V. to build the Javelin 25.25, big sister of the in 2012 delivered Javelin 22.22. With this new seaworthy and multifunctional work vessel, Braveheart is further expanding its offshore services in the area of crew tendering, hydrographic and seismological research and survey activities.

This Javelin will also be equipped with a gyro stabilization system that ensures a stable position serving a dual purpose: the system decreases swaying so accurate measurements can also be made when waves are high. In addition, it ensures the crew can safely embark or disembark the vessel during a high wave impact. An additional benefit is that the crew, sometimes remaining on board for months, doesn’t have to experience the continuous and extreme sways of the vessel.

The in collaboration with Vripack designed Javelin 25.25 offers more space and capacity to the crew compared to its almost 5 year older sister. Because of the significant enlargement of the fuel tank the ship is able to remain at sea significantly longer. This is for the mostly large distances that have to be covered in order to carry out offshore activities all over the world.

The stability, comfort and speed are the most important main pillars of the vessel. At the time, the design has been tested by the Maritime Research Institute Netherlands (MARIN) in Wageningen and calculated to optimize the stability (roll and pitch) of the vessel. The ship will be developed in such a way that it can be used for both survey and crew tendering activities as well as construction and maintenance of wind parks.

The expected delivery time is planned in June 2017.
