The Spirit operated in Dunkirk, France for Jan de Nul. During daytime the Spirit performed survey activities and assisted the hopper Francis Beaufort during the pressing process. The Spirit helped by bringing the floating pipeline to the Francis Beaufort. Next to this the Spirit had to take samples in and outside the harbour for environmental purposes. The Spirit performed mentioned activities in April 2016.

For May 2016 Jan de Nul requested a vessel on the Dunkirk project. Similar activities were executed with the Freedom.
