One of the main challenges the port faced at this time was how to accurately determine how much sand would need to be excavated and then pumped elsewhere. This is where the expertise of Braveheart Marine came into play, supplying all of the survey and crew tender vessels, including the crew themselves. The vessels operating for this project were the Spirit, Libertas, William Wallace, Esprit, Profiler and Friendship II. While working on the PUMA project for 4 years, the William Wallace performed crew tender activities without any incidents or accidents. The vessel conducted 8.000 safe crew transfers. The client was very satisfied.
