We were asked by a client to carry out a survey for the port of Belize-City. The client chose to work with us because we have the Mobile Survey Equipment Set which is employable worldwide. All the equipment is set up in a way that is operational when you arrive on site. In Belize the survey set is installed on a small vessel and thus mapped the area with a multibeam. Subsequently the same area is mapped and the second time a Sub-bottom Profiler was used. With this echosounder the silt/sludge layer can be detected. This way can you see through the top layer using the high frequency and with the low frequency you can imbue in the seafloor.
